“Amicia Adamaris believed that one person with enough conviction could change a system. She was right. She just didn't survive long enough to see it.”— Amicia Adamaris

Amicia Adamaris believed that one person with enough conviction could change a system. She was right. She just didn't survive long enough to see it.

The Adamaris name is heavy in Frysia. Two hundred years ago, an Adamaris admiral sailed his fleet away on the worst night in Frysian history — and every generation since has been quietly paying for it. Her grandfather spent his whole life on a single act of atonement. Amicia inherited the debt, the name, and something else.

She walked into rooms where Frysians weren't welcome and said things Frysians weren't allowed to say. She believed the system could be reformed from inside. Her death is where Day Zero begins.

The Chronicle
I
Origin
Born into Arcadia's political class, Amicia rose through merit and relentless idealism — seeing cracks in the system that others had learned to ignore. She trained herself out of comfort the way other nobles trained themselves out of fear.
II
The Reformer
She did not seek power. She sought change. In the end, the two became indistinguishable — and she paid the price that always comes when someone tries to fix a system from within it.
III
Aftermath
She trusted the wrong man to deliver justice. The reforms she bled for took root. She was not there to see them grow. The consequences ripple still — across every nation in the world.

She trusted the wrong man to deliver justice. The world is still paying for it.
